What is VirtualCallboard?

A callboard is a bulletin board commonly found in the backstage areas of a theatre where important information is posted for the theatre company, principally the actors. VirtualCallboard is an ONLINE version of this callboard. VirtualCallboard allows Stage Managers to organize and share the information typically found on a callboard over the world wide web.

Why would we use an online callboard when the regular callboard works just as well?

VirtualCallboard is a great way to keep your actual callboard better up to date! VirtualCallboard allows you to make quick print outs of everything you will want to post on the callboard. It keeps everything running smoothly.

Why doesn't this do _________?

Subscribing

Do I have to subscribe for a year at a time?

No. Our basic packages are month-to-month. This allows you the flexibility to come and go as you wish. However, greatest power of VirtualCallboard is in its ability to archive years worth of data and keep that archive at your fingertips. In order to make this easier and more affordable, we offer discounts for customers who sign up for a year at a time.

Do I have to install anything?

No. VirtualCallboard is a hosted service. It's a website that we run for you! There is nothing to buy, upgrade, install, or worry about.

Why is there a monthly fee? Why can't I just pay a one time fee?

We pay monthly fees to host your website in a secure, redundant data center. We use the same grade of servers that power sites like Google and Amazon. This isn't cheap.

Also, your continued support allows us to continually develop new features and constant updates to VirtualCallboard, making it a better product and continuing our commitment to you as a customer.

Billing

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept online payments through PayPal.com using any major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express). However, you do NOT need to become a PayPal member or have a PayPal account to utilize online payments.

We also accept check and money order. Please note, however, that your check must be received ON OR BEFORE the due date on your account or late fees and/or account deactivation will automatically occur.

When will I receive my first bill?

You will receive your first bill 30 days after you create your VirtualCallboard. Your bills will be sent to the billing email address you specify when you sign up for your account. We offer electronic billing ONLY.

How long do I have to pay? / Why was I charged a late fee?

You have 14 days to pay bills you receive from VirtualCallboard. If payment has not been received by the due date, your account will be assessed a $15 late fee. If you do not pay the late fee by the due date, your account will be automatically deactivated. You can reactivate your account immediately by submitting an online payment via PayPal.
